Body-Based Trauma Release (In-Person Sessions)

Intuitive Counseling

What This Approach Is

This body-based approach focuses on increasing awareness of how emotional patterns and past experiences may be held within the body.

Rather than working only through conversation, sessions invite you to notice physical sensations, subtle responses, and internal cues that may be connected to emotional experiences.

By bringing gentle awareness to the body, individuals may begin to recognize patterns, release tension, and develop a deeper connection to themselves.

Supporting individuals who are seeking greater self-awareness, clarity, and meaningful change.

HealYou.ca offers counselling and integration support designed to help you better understand yourself, navigate life’s challenges, and move forward with greater confidence and intention.

How Sessions Work

Sessions are offered in person and may include gentle, guided touch along with intuitive inquiry and somatic awareness.

This is a non-invasive and supportive process where attention is brought to different areas of the body to explore where tension, patterns, or responses may be held.

The work is guided at a pace that feels safe and grounded, allowing the body to settle and respond naturally.

This approach may be helpful for individuals navigating:

• stored emotional tension
• trauma-related patterns
• stress and nervous system overwhelm
• chronic patterns of reactivity
• difficulty feeling connected to the body
• integration following significant life experiences

Each session is tailored to your comfort level and personal needs.

What to Expect

Sessions are collaborative and exploratory. You are invited to remain present with your experience while being gently guided to notice sensations, shifts, or patterns within the body.

Some individuals experience subtle changes, while others notice clearer emotional or physical awareness.

There is no pressure for anything to happen, the process unfolds naturally.

What This Work May Support

How This Work Is Used

Body-based work is often integrated with talk therapy, energy-based approaches, and integration support.

It offers a different pathway for exploring patterns that may not always be accessible through conversation alone.

This approach provides supportive counselling and somatic awareness and is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or emergency care.
